Cornell Chimesmaster Reunion
and Sesquicentennial Celebration
Homecoming Weekend
September 21-23, 2018

On October 7, 1868, in a muddy pasture far above Cayuga's waters, while mounted on a wooden stand, the Cornell Chimes first rang out at the university's opening ceremonies. For the past 150 years, the bells have been the tempo of campus life, ringing for weddings and memorials, jubilations and armistices, sunny days and grey skies.

Join current and alumni chimesmasters for a weekend of celebration, bell ringing, and reminiscing at the chimesmaster reunion and sesquicentennial celebration.
